So I live just off Sam Ridley pkwy near Smyrna. About an hour ago the election was called for Obama. I have heard five or six fireworks or gunshots in the last 30 minutes, lots of cop cars blazing down the road with their sirens and three distinct fire trucks. Are these just accident responses, or dumb people reacting to the election?

Hey Musicman. Seems like we're pretty close neighbors in Smyrna, and I haven't heard anything crazy yet. I did buy a a couple of cases of bottled water and a few hundred rounds of .45acp this afternoon... you know, just in case... uh, found some good deals.

Mostly I'm just depressed and drinking heavily.

On the bright side the Rep. got the TN house so we may get some decent carry laws passed. At least until the Fed's ban all handguns.

Yeah Naifeh is probably out. Haven't heard of any rioting so I think we can move on from last night and start moving forward with doing what we do best. Cling to guns and religion and take back the house and senate in 2010.

Phones have not stopped ringing since I got in at 7:30.

Everyone wants to know what time we open and if we have any "AR-15s" in stock.

There is apparently going to be a line at the front door when we open.

And to top it off we're only getting in 5 XD-Ms in 9mm today. Should have been 10. So I'm pissed about that since the other 5 won't be here until tomorrow when it might be too late.

So where are the Palin riots? I heard the Police were getting ready for them and being the right wing, Christian, gun loving, conservative, radical I want to be a part of the stand but I can't find any? Anyone know?
