They will never stop. Their goal is unachieveable so they can't. Look at the damage they've done to the wood stove world. If left unabated, they will outlaw fireplace and wood stove use as well as using the water on your own land.

Of Course they would use a Pin Head California University to do the tests because they would have been laughed out of any other University in any other state. I wonder if they will end up outlawing tail gate parties at all the college in California. I know they dang sure don't want to mess with them folks up on Rocky Top and their tail gate parties...................

Yeah, and get this... When mine finally broke. I discovered that you cannot get a decent freaking gas can any longer. Now they all have this ridiculous gas valve cap BS on them.... WTF!!

Another regulation is that propane tanks are required to be checked every 8 years. I had a U-Haul here on Hixson Pike that refused to fill my grill's tank due to that. I've only had the grill about 3 years but the tank had just turned 8 years old in January of this year. So, I took it to one of those exchange places and traded it in for a new one. (I checked that date on the one I was getting.) It cost me about $28 or so but it was filled. now I can take it anywhere and get it filled.

This is nothing but a round about way to ban the eating of meat by people that don't want to eat meat and don't want you to either.

Charcoal is king however, gas is handy. You can make fantastic tasting food on gas the key is don't clean it! Just the grate. Regulating temps on gas is so much easier. I use both. Frequently.

Once they regulate the gas grills to the point of non existence, they'll make charcoal prohibitively expensive. It'll be like Europe here before you know it, and we won't be smiling either.

when/if that happens I have a ton of hickory/oak trees on my 2 pieces of land that can sacrifice limbs for my outdoor cooking pleasure

I really think what drives them is justification of their existence. Make up and go after stupid crap to promote self worth to avoid any budget cuts from the programs.
Who else can make this crap up?

Regulating temps on a charcoal grill is easy just by opening and closing your vents.   For those of you that can't learn how to do it, gas is your friend.

Just watch out for the Blue Rhino. They have a special valve to prevent their tanks being filled by independents. They also underfill.
