Not that Ruger needs anymore love..

Recommended Posts

But, just wanted to add another post to the cyber world proclaiming their Customer Service awesomeness,

My LCR had a cylinder issue and they had it picked up by UPS the next day. This was less than a week ago, and it's due to hit my house tomorrow.

A company that takes pride in its product is a company that will continue to get my business.

I found out last week that one of my LC9 magazines that I have had for a few years was disengaging when the slide was racked.  My other magazines were made in Italy; this one was made in the USA.  The metal looks different, but everything else looks the same.  They sent me a new Italian magazine and an envelope to send back the other magazine.

The new magazine did not have any issues today.

They also completely refunded my money for a Mini 14 (after trying to fix the original one three times and then sending a replacement).  Customer service is great, but I wonder about the quality control.

I'll give Ruger a thumbs up on an LCR I owned a few years ago.

Was cleaning it and noticed cratering in the top strap above the forcing cone.

I noticed a little crystallization in the metal, a quick Google search revealed only one of guy who experienced this issue, so just one of those things...

Called Ruger, they set up UPS to and from, got a new gun back in about 14 business days.

They also picked up my TICs fee.
