My new favorite restaurant downtown is Pucketts

I've eaten at both locations recently and find it to be quality food for both breakfast and lunch.

Try Arnold's for some Southern comfort and soul food. Only open for lunch.

I have never eaten at the restaurant but have had there catering and it was some good stuff

The Calypso Cafe in Cool Springs and the one in Belle Meade are closed.

Their Thompson Lane/100 Oaks location is open, and I think the one on Elliston Place is still open as well.

Cool. I didn't realize there were more around. I went to eat at the one in Cool Springs and it was gone so next time I was in west Nashville, I headed to the one around Elliston and it was gone too so I thought it was no more. Glad to hear that it's not.

Personally I'd rather hop on the trace and jump off for some food at Puckett's in Leiper's Fork but that's a bit of a trek.

I've never been there. The only reason I went to Loveless is because my "team outing" for work went there for supper. I was impressed and brought my wife and a couple of friends back for breakfast.

On another note, Joey's Pizza at 897 Elm Hill Pike is good for an experience of New York food in Nashville. They're only open for lunch during the week. No weekend or evenings. They are like the pizza Nazis, however.

+1 for Joey's/ Great pizza. If you just want to eat get there around 11:30 or after 1:00. If you want entertainment go during the lunch rush and hope that Joey starts talking to the customers or Chris (Joey's wife) gets on the phone. It winds Stephanie (daughter) up and it can get fulL Brooklyn in a heartbeat.

NO!!!!!!!!! Don't tell people about Joey's House of Pizza! It's hard enough to get in there already.

I mean, uh....

Joey's? That place is nasty....nobody should ever go there.

The Pour House off of 8th Ave S. Great burgers and more bourbons and drafts than you could sample in a year!!
