ccw 1911 advice sought

I carried one 50 years ago while in the army and was a whole lot younger. Not that they are not a great weapon, just don't think I would want to CC one now.

I really think that you have to shop and try out different designs. I normally carry my springer champion operator in a VM2 at the 3 o'clock position. However, I recently sent the operator in to get some work done and am now carrying a fullsize 1911 in a galco royal guard (5 o'clock position) and can tell you that I don't care for it at all.
