Scored some M885

At that I price I would have bought 20K.    It looks like you scored the highly sought after steel case rounds and not that run of the mill Lake City brass crap.    Was the green paint dry when you bought them?   If not, it looks like you really got them right off the Russian manufacturing line.    Nice score.

Spiffy, ignore nightrunner. He doesn't know what he's talking about. Your M885 is 30 better than that M855 stuff. Besides, the ATF backed off their M855 ban but they didn't say anything at all about backing off on an M885 ban. A year from now you'll be wishing you had bought another 10K at that price.

I hope you got that metal mag with it! I have heard the edges can be sharpened and used as a close range weapon if the gun runs dry. Probably be banned soon.

I got 2 cases of those metal mags!  Can't have all that ammo and nothing to store it in. I didn't think ziplock baggies would be the best for long term storage because that's what the M855 came in.
