Anyone else see the Glock teaser they posted on their facebook page this weekend? Fingers crossed I am thinking we will finally get to see the single stack 9mm at the NRA show in Nashville next month.

I wonder if this means they are revamping or changing the spring on the G4 or if they are going to a G5 design.

Thanks

Robert

And if wishes were fishes we'd all have fish suppers too...sorry not even going to get my hopes up only to be disappointed again. When Gaston and Company get around to releasing a new model we'll see...

They obviously haven't sold enough G 42's just yet to warrant releasing a G 43 9mm pocket gun...maybe one day... but I'm not holding my breath waiting for it.  :squint:

Speaking of, is the G4 spring and guide inadequate?

It would be nice, but I'm not going to hold my breath or sell my Shield just yet. lol

I think it will be announced at the NRA convention. No other explanation for the picture as far as I can tell. Single stack 9mm.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I have started my slush fund JUST in case its a single stack 9mm.

I think it's going to be too little, too late for them.  Sure, loyalists will dump whatever they already have in order to fund the purchase of one, but most folks who wanted a single-stack polymer 9mm already bought one from another manufacturer by now.

As much as I love my Glock 19s, I love my M&P Shield 9mm just as much.  It's the handgun Glock should have built two years ago.

Yeah, I can't see me parting with my Shield. I actually hope this is the ss9 so I can pick up some more Shields cheap. Edited by Patton

I bet it's a new single stack 10mm just to piss off all you whiners about the 9mm that will never happen. They already have the .45 version, should be fairly easy to build.

Seems to me that Glock is starting to adopt the H&K business model. Because you suck, and we hate you.
