This I'll call a camp knife for lack of a better term. It's made from 1095 carbon steel 1/4" thick with a blade of about 5 1/4" long. Over all length is right at 10 1/2". It's been professionally heat treated to a RC of 59-60. It has jimping on the spine and has been lightly etched for contrast. It has textured G10 scales with white liners and comes with the sheath pictured.

This will probably be a "one of" knife. I spent a lot of time on this one for some reason and don't care to do it again soon. laugh.gif

It has a good sized handle....you're lot likely gonna let this one slip out of  your hand. It's available.

Cool looking pig sticker!   Educate me on the purpose of the cut on the spine running toward the tip.  It looks neat and I see that on lots of knives but don't know why its there.

The swedge makes it easier to make a fine point without taking too much integrity from the actual blade. The actual blade thickness remains heavier through most of the length  and dresses up appearance. It also makes it easier for piercing.

A lot of modern blades don't have them because it's an additional process and an additional cost.
