Well... we had a tally thread of who exercised their patriotic choice during the Early Voting sessions, and the how it went... so I guess I'll kick one off for the Election Day votes.

Wife and I just got back from voting. In and out in about 20 mins... thanks to the polling location being the elementary school 2 blocks down the road. Hit it around 10:30am and was maybe 5-6 people in front of us, with a few more coming in. Tried to time it before the lunch "rush".

2 more votes for McCain/Palin. :D

Stood in line about an hour. Had to listen to some dumb old lady talk about her diabetic feet and make baby noises nonstop to some little kid. In the end, one more vote for McCain/Palin.

I went at 8am, we have 2 pricincts at the same place, elementary school. From entry into door to exit at same door, 1 hour 25 minutes. When I left the line had almost doubled.

My wife is going tonight after work, 4:30.

We support NObama.

McCain/Palin!

Maybe 40 minutes this morning in Mt. Juliet.

One more for Mccain/Palin. My wife can't vote - she's Canadian...

I wore my "If I voted for a President because he was white, you would call me a racist" shirt.

Sweet. There were signs at my polling place saying that you could not approach within ten feet of the voting machines with anything that had a political message on it. Didn't appear to be much of a problem since most of the people in line were age 50+.

As far as state elections, I also voted for Lamar Alexander and Zach Wamp.

Hendersonville, Sumner county, I wait about 50 mins. There were approx 100-150 people in front of me. They were quick to get everyone processed and to the voting machine. Wife voted a few hours later.

+1 for the Poll workers!

Chalk up 2 more votes up for McCain/MILF!!!

First time voting since moving to Tn. Called elections office to find out which location I should vote.. Of course they sent me to the wrong one, so I got to wait in line twice! No problem, I voted so I can bitch about sorry politicians!

Proud to cancel out a Nobama vote too!

In and out in about 10 minutes...+1 for McCain. On a side note, I had a run in with one of the guys running for city commission. I couldn't understand his slurred speech, but he asked if I was a lawyer and then was spouting stuff out about sticking a gun in my face and illegal searches and seizures. I didn't stick around b/c I had no idea what this guy's views were and I couldn't understand him. Then another guy in the running just said thanks for coming out and if elected he wouldn't arrest me like the previous guy I talked to. Overall, very confusing for such a small town...
