Thanks for the info yesterday, after I broke down my carbine it was some what self explanitary about some of the problems I am haveing with the 300blk, the gas port on that rainer barrel was drilled out to .125 from the maker so I have been over gassing for sure, so I will have it on hold till next month when I can get one of the inexpensive adjustable gas blocks to tame the thing down. That should then fix several on the issues that I have had I hope.

Did you buy the barrel new? Because my shorter Rainier Arms barrel had a much smaller port.

And .125" does not guarantee and over gas issue and even over gassed it rarely causes problems in 300 Blackout.

Call them and see what they say. .125" is big, even for a carbine gas, to start with. I have had carbine length guns run with .093.

Is it acting like not enough gas? Not ejecting and the case 1/2 in the chamber.

I have had the barrel for a while now being that it has taken so long for me to build it a few pieces at a time. I will call and see what they say, it will not cycle properly, it does not strip the following round from the mag, the bolt does slam hard. There are other issues just cant recall them all, it has been frustrating to get this up and running
