It was a budget build, but it'll shoot three rounds touching at 100 yards. We had a fine afternoon of shooting now that the weather has finally cooperated a bit.

Yeah, looks great.

If you would PM me your address. I might have a trigger kit I can send you.

Anything to help a kid get outside and into the shooting sports. And props to you for getting your son involved in guns, way too many parents are afraid to introduce their kids to guns.

You are the greatest, Gordon. I have a few of your kits already. We put a lower parts kit in it from Anderson Arms, and believe it or not, It's a really good trigger as it came.

I truly appreciate the offer!

Cool looking AR.   What's the build details?

I've got receivers, a bcg, and lower parts kit set aside for my 11 year old for when he gets old enough to decide what he wants to build.

I wonder who will brag more about this...you to us, or your son to his friends.  :D

Now you can get him to do more chores for ammo!

Man, that's really cool. When I was growing up Dad always had a lot of guns because we did a lot of hunting of all kinds, he was never really simply into guns like I was though. That is until I started building AR's. I actually got to teach him how to build an AR, and it's some of the most memorable moments we've ever had. Congrats to both of you, it's awesome to be able to share that. Edited by KKing

Nice rifle. My son put together the 2 TGO builds we have.

We enjoy shooting them and getting the optics zeroed in. He has really learned alot doing the builds. Good times for sure.
