While it appears to have worked on a stationary object, will it work on a moving object? Either way, it's a cool advancement in weapons  technology.

I suspect it wouldn't be a major challenge to mount it on a set of motorized gimbals, mate it to a tracking system with cameras, and put it up high enough to give it a downward angle into the engine bay.
