TN Gun Owner Friends,

Just a note to announce the next Tennessee Firearms Assoc meeting for the Memphis chapter on Thursday May 17th at 6 PM. This one will feature a great BBQ dinner before the meeting at 6. For $9.95 we'll have fresh pork shoulder BBQ with all trimmings + beverage.

Promptly after the dinner will be the meeting consisting of a few words by Scott Kilby of Range USA followed by a lesson on concealed carry for defense by Chip Holland, one of the instructors at Range USA and Madison Co. Tn. sheriff's dept. The meeting will adjourn promptly at 8:30

In addition to a very informative and worthwhile evening of events, the meeting will also include drawings for apparel from both Range USA and TFA.

Meeting will take place at Range USA, a location familiar with most Memphis shooting enthusiasts, an indoor range a couple of miles north of I-40 on Whitten Road. Take the last right turn behind the front buildings just before the intersection of Whitten road at Hwy 70.

The meeting will be open to the public and prospective TFA members as well as the regular "old hands." The chapter is headed by a friend of mine who does a very fine job of keeping things useful, informative, and effective.

We'd like to extend a cordial invitation to all readers to come on out, enjoy a very worthwhile evening with like minded people, enjoy a great meal if you'd like to come early at 6 PM.
