Far as I am concerned, he's leaving all the "less expensive" options for the rest of us.  And I usually do not connotate Gander with anything "less expensive".......

Because it is only 10 minutes away and a good place to buy small gun parts  (mags, holsters, ammo) at a good price from the private vendors, otherwise it is

not much of a gunshow.

Maybe if people are spending their money on Green Tips they'll stop buying 22LR.

You wish!!!  I have to admit that I am starting to buy .223 again, on the chance I will not be able to get it later. But there is no way in hell, I will spend a dollar around for it!

I'm still trying to figure out what's special about a little green paint on the tip of a bullet.Do they glow in the dark? Lol.

It's not just the green tip 5.56 they are panicking over.  Go to SGAmmo or AIM Surplus, very little of the other bullet styles remaining.  7.62x39 also wiped out, too.  And just when prices were coming down!

Picked up 3 50 Round boxes of Perfecta  .55gr .223 (brass) this afternoon at Walmart.  Paid 18.99 per box.  They had Tula 20 round steel 55gr $5.49.

I'm sure tat the gougers can diversify enough to exploit two calibers.  It was just a couple of years ago that we couldn't readily get handgun ammo in any caliber because of those a-holes.

I have never understood the hype. My AR likes the 55 grain it doesn't shoot the green tip 62 grain quite as well.

I have enough for a while hopefully sanity will prevail... but I doubt it.
