For months, I stalked many of the guys around this forum that knew their way around the EBR world. I'll tell you, I'm a newb. All I knew was that I wanted an AR-15, and I wanted it before November 4th.

Nonetheless, Jcochran88, strob2000 and myself made a 5 hour trip to Winchester just to see what all of the fuss was about. Well, let me tell you, the trip is worth it, and the expertise is priceless.

I've been in dozens and dozens of gun stores, and have been harassed by gunny-geeks plenty of times. When you go into Joe's place, you step into the real deal. Joe and his staff know their stuff, and are willing to share it. The selection is second to none, the prices and deals are great, and the expertise is worth more than all of that.

Knowing full well I was a newb, Joe still took his time with me, and took us step-by-step through the inner-workings of these EBR's. He didn't harass me, but he was more than willing to even prod me for questions when I looked bewildered.

Now, to the good part...I picked up a StagArms model 2L, in the left-handed carbine style. I got an awesome deal on the gun and a few accessories. It was definitely worth the trip, and I will be going back for any and all of my needs. Even while we stood there, jcochran88 went ahead, against his wife's 'warning' and bought his lower. It's like the casino...you better not take more money there than what you are willing to leave there!!!

And Joe, if you read this... that was the best $90 fish sandwich I ever et!
