Joe,

This is Dale. Wednesday will be my first match other than the Classifier that we shot last week. I have a couple questions about the course for Wednesday. \

Stage 2 - At P1 does it matter which side of the barrels we engage? Due to one of the targets being closer on the left, would it still have tactical priority if we engaged from the right(slicing the pie would make it   the last target visible)?

Stage 3 - Once the door is opened T4 looks like it will be visible. I would assume that we must engage T4 from the doorway prior to advancing to cover for T5-T6. Correct?

Thank you and I look forward to seeing you guys on Wednesday.

Dale,

Looking forward to having a fun match Wednesday. The diagrams of the stage have the potential to be moved or arranged slightly different on site due to safety concerns. For example if shooting the left target from the right side of the barricade could cause a round to hit the wall, we may at that time reposition the target, or require all shots to be taken from one side. We will of course go through the stage descriptions and allow time for a walk through, but in short:
Stage 2 the shooter will have the option of which side of the barrel to shoot from, and could even choose to shoot from both sides if desired. Slicing the pie will allow you to stay within cover, and still engage the targets in the order you see them.
Stage 3 the shooter must engage the targets visible while using the door frame and wall section as cover before advancing to engage any other targets down the hallway.

Also, this is the first match under the new rule book, so be ready for some reloads on the move! Let the tricky biz begin!

The weather looks like its going to hold off (just rain) in Gallatin until 10 or so tonight, so the match is still on. Stopped by the range this morning and they have no plans to close early, so game on!

Fyi a wreck on highway 109 north in Laguardo. If you are coming from I40 up 109, take back roads around it. You can take Old Laguardo road, right turn on Double Log Cabin, left turn on academy, right turn on Bradshaw, right on Bates then right on 109.

This will put you out north of the crash. Message me if you need more info

Edit to above, if they are re routing at 109 and 70 head toward Lebanon (70 east) take first left onto Cairo bend road. Turn left onto academy road at intersection. Right onto Bradshaw, Right on Bates, right onto 109. Total of 15 min delay this way.
