Gov't Shutting Down Internet?? Says my Hair stylist.

Ok, I know I've been out of touch somewhat the last week or so, but my hairstylist just texted me desperate for information on where to buy a couple of boxes of ammo before the "government shut down the internet."

I'm guessing she meant shutting down internet ammo sales. Or does she know something I've missed?

I'm guessing she's seen some of the things on M855 restrictions.

She's a very sharp woman in almost all things. But can be a little on the tin-foil hat side sometimes.

Any ideas on this?

Sounds like she mixed and matched pieces of the M855 proposal and FCC vote on net neutrality regs.

No idea, but I'd like to see an animated simulation of the carnage that would ensue if it happened.

It might be the funniest thing I've ever seen; Seeing the "Industrial Technological System" as ole' Ted put it, crumble.  Some people can't wipe their own azz unless they google it first.

They don't like to be called barbers. Hair stylist sounds professional. Would you rather be called a truck driver or "commercial transportation specialist"? ;)

The real question is why do you have a hair stylist and not a barber?

I think Steelharp's question below answers your quesiton...   :)

Is this the hottie? ;)

The real question is why do you have a hair stylist and not a barber? Are you rocking a mullet or a perm?

Actually had a lot of hair in days of old. Had a 10 inch "pony tail" for about 8 years. I guess it could have been considered a mullet since it was always pulled back from the sides and around the crown.

What OS said.

Though the big question is...hair stylist?  I thought men went to barber's.  ;)

I thought so as well.

I go to a barber. In a barber shop. Where we tell Obama jokes, insult each other, and watch sports.  There's a small glass cabinet of Pinaud products for sale that look like they haven't been touched since the Eisenhower administration. That's where men go for a hiarcut.

I havn't paid for a haircut in years. I just set the clippers for 3/8" and LET 'ER RIP!  Finish trim with a bear trimmer and I'm done.

I don't pay for hair cuts either......just let it grow.  It's like shaving, you cut it off, the crap just comes right back.  Heck with it, let it go.

I doubt it. As far as I know, she has never visited here. Her questions to me were probably sparked by what was thrown around on Facebook. The young lady seems to spend quite a lot of time there.

I mean the topic not the post!

Maybe I need to send her a friend request... ;)

Do it. Seriously, she is a very smart and independent woman. Would make a great friend to add to your collection.

They won't shut down the internet.  They have used the internet to train the masses into not thinking for themselves and to become dependent on the government.

However she was probably referring to the FCC and net neutrality.
