Handgun Carry Permit Bills?

Has any progress been made in the legislature so far on any decent gun bills, such as park carry for people with handgun carry permits?  It looks like one park carry bill was not heard yesterday, HB0274.

HB0274 was taken off notice by the sponsor prior to the Civil Justice Subcommittee meeting yesterday... won't be heard unless the sponsor (Goins) re-calendars it.  Not sure if it can be re-calendared this session or not.

 

HB0202 (extending liability for civil damages to employers who take action against a permit holder for lawful storage and possession) was rolled to next week's Civil Sub meeting (March 4).  The March 4 meeting could be slightly interesting: in addition to this one, Matheny's "HCP holders = off duty LEO" bill is scheduled to appear, as is HB0994 (Todd - similar to HB 0202, but amending TCA 50-1-312 that deals with employee-employer relationship instead of amending 39-17-1313)

 

Only significant ones I know of with any type of action to date
