Prayers for you and for your family.  We just lost my dad less than 2 weeks ago, so I understand a little of what you're going through.  Glad you were able to reconcile before now, and definitely try to get there as soon as you can.

Sorry for the delay. Just an update i am here in Colorado. It was a rough week Last week Dad was in the hospital due to critically low sodium levels. The oncologist gave us bad news time is very short he has a few days to maybe a couple of weeks left. He got to come home Friday and palliative care is helping out. It is a sad time. Yesterday some people from his and mom's church came and played music and sang hymns with dad. He is extremely weak and fatigues easily. I am glad I came. It is bitter sweet. It hurts to see him as a shell of the man I knew but it is good to be here.

Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. Last night he was very lucid and we had a good talk. I don't think it will be long. I will be coming back to Tennessee tomorrow. It has been a good visit sad but lots of love.

Final update dad passed Thursday night. My wife and I are leaving Wednesday to drive out for the funeral Saturday the 21st. It would have been his 72nd birthday.

I'm very sorry I didn't see this sooner. Prayers to you and your family and I know it is hard to say but your dads suffering is now over and he is now with GOD and if I cannot be here with friends I know I would like to be in GODS hands.
