Shooting at Vanderbilt

Somehow guns on campus will be to blame.

Some reporters are saying they are looking for that truck; others say the truck is there and the owner fled. Apparently the whole incident including the shooting is on video.

yeah i got an email from campus police about it, i was there at vanderbilt earlier yesterday, good thing i didnt stick around to work!

in other news.... Wesley place is owned by Vandy?  ... and/or it is actually on Vandy's campus?   ... does Vandy's campus stop somewhere down by broadway and I-40?  :)

Wesley Place Garage is owned by Vanderbilt and is on the northeast edge of the perimeter. Everything in brown on the map is technical campus although you wouldn't be able to tell the difference driving through

These are the stories (just had someone shot in front of "our" Firehouse Subs the other day - guy ran into "our" Publix for help) that are going to convince my wife to get her HCP.    ...not that an HCP would help anyone on Vandy's campus.

 

-and not that any of my family have a need to be out and about after 10pm.

I slept through my wife's notice. As a matter of fact her phone would have had to get up and tap dance on my forehead...even then waking would be questionable.
