Hey guys I just heard on the T.V. after we got power back that yesterday it was 10 today 32 tomorrow rain. I know those guys are miserable. Say a little prayer for their safety. I don't know why the classic is in Feb. that is poor judgement to me. I would choose May.

Sorry I'll never feel sorry for anyone who has to endure the weather to fish.  Not after I've endured the weather to do manual labor so that I can be a productive member of society, which pales in comparison to elements that our soldiers have endured so that we can have all that we do.

Hey 10ring, I never said I felt sorry for them. I have worked in the cold, rain, hot, humid for a paycheck too.

x2.  fyi - they are working in the cold for a paycheck.

Miserable weather to fish in. I have been fishing the Gallatin steam plant this winter in the Yak and it has sucked a few times. What amazes me is the bags the guys still catch. They have not been monster bags but 15-20 pounds is very nice in any weather let alone those conditions. I would like to know what I could do on that lake in those conditions.

line freezing to guides, gunwales, carpet, and net!! Walleye guys would be chuckling at me trying to sort that out.
