I can't say I'm surprised. I've seen those before and always thought it was a bad design. I'm somewhat surprised someone shot herself in the head before someone shot herself in the ribs/heart.

they probably have, but lived thru it so all the news sez is "man shoots self in abdomen" yadda....  they get head, torso, and extremities, more detail is left to your imagination usually.

Those things plus purses for guns are  a really dumb idea.I mentioned that to a woman who was selling those at the gun show and she looked at me like I just shot her dog. Not to mention.its uncomfy ..
