I have a feeling that the guy in the video had little or no prior experience with guns. He was trusting the guy filming or a third party and they were more interested in "punking" him so they could laugh at him than in making sure he had a safe, positive experience. I know people like that who will lie and tell someone that a heavy thumper shotgun, etc. doesn't kick just so they can laugh at the 'victim's' reaction. I personally don't find such asshattery funny in the least. To me, that seems like a good way to turn a person who was open to learning about guns into a person who has no interest in firearms. But maybe my funny bone is just not working right.

its funny, but it isn't... couple ppl been killed by those things, when the recoil flips it and they pull the trigger a second time as it aligns to their face....   its not a gun to play with (as if any are, but you can one hand smaller stuff safely without experience, a 500 mag isn't a good pick for it)

I don't find it funny either.

I equate this to the story the news played this morning.

A guy decides to do some kind of running of the bulls thing like they do in spain and gets gored.

I can only shake my head and turn the channel

I don't find it funny either. Someone could have easily been seriously injured or killed. Completely irresponsible of the gun owner, highly negligent, and not in any way supportive of our continuing safety and freedoms.

The gun owner prolly bought the gun thinking of all the funny YouTube vids he can make by letting some inexperienced noob shoot his gun. He needs his ass whipped.
