Not exactly sure what I've got

Blade marked Solingen G.H.

 

I got it from my grandfather 35 years ago, but it could have been his dad's or my grandma's dad's so I have no idea of it's age

 

A quick google search didn't reveal anything like it.

 

 

 

There seems to be excessive wear from sharpening the smaller blade - indication of age or soft steel?

 

 

The enamel is cracked and but the game doesn't show how good the color still is.

 

 Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!
