Whats up everyone? My name is Ben and I'm from Nashville. I'm an NRA member and I've been a gun owner for several years. I carry a Springfield XD SC .40 daily and I have several others. I didn't know this site existed until a couple of days ago and I have found lots of good info here and I look forward to talking with everyone.

Welcome to the board and may I say this is a great place for Tennessee folks to take care of one another I have only been here about a month and have found out so much and everyone is just great. If I may make one sugguestion that really helps keep the board going is to make a donation and become a Benefactor, you can do this by clicking on donation in the top right hand corner of the home page. Its cheap and makes you a Benefactor on the site. It also supports the board, you dont have to by no means but I have found that things like these forums are great for our hobby and they dont run free. The admin folks do a great job. Again Welcome aboard !

I usually don't care much for indoor ranges either unless it's really cold outside. I go and shoot at the Chetham County Wildlife Management Area. They have an outdoor firing range in the middle of the reserve that is huge. It's a lot bigger than Owl Hollow. To get there you go down River Rd towards Ashland City - take a left on Wiley Pardue Road - then after about 5 or 6 miles it turns into Primm Road and you'll see a brown and green gas station on your right. You have to stop here and buy a range permit ($5.50 good for two hours) and then the rage is another mile or two down a gravel road across from the gas station. It's about a 20 minute drive from Bellevue and I love it because there is rarely anyone out there. The actual address of the range is 1054 Headquarters Rd, Ashland City, TN 37015.
