PTAC is PSA's bargain brand. I equate it to DPMS, Delton level stuff. I'd drop the extra coin personally($100+/-) and go with their Cold Hammer Forged barrels and premium bolts.

I've got several PSA rifles and have worked on many, never seen any problems or quality issues. ..

There's a significant diff between the various PSA offerings however. Certainly the PSA "premium" stuff is as good as most anyone's.  The PTAC  less so. On the other hand, it seems quite adequate for most shooters' needs, and PSA is as I understand warranting it pretty much the same as any of their other stuff.

I'm curious if anyone has one of the PTAC rifles and how they like it. My PSA "premium" build is a tack driver but still has a slightly canted front sight that drives me nuts.

I finally bought a PTAC upper, but haven't got to the range to try it out. But I'll say, it looks pretty nice for $200 shipped. If I could only have one AR I would probably get a nicer one, but I have several and this will just be a range/target rifle and will probably outlast me since I won't shoot it every weekend.
