Electronic money transfer. It's coming and no one can stop it. This has been talked about for many years, but only in recent years has the technology evolved to this level. I wonder how many jobs that will cost? No more manufacturing of paper or coin currency, no more transporting of cash, no need for cash registers, Just walk up to the counter, scan your items and swipe your new National (soon to be world) EMT money card (You most likely have one in your pocket or purse. it's called a DEBIT CARD) and BAM, It's paid for. We do this now at the self service POS registers in Wal-Mart and the grocery store and other places with the only difference being we use a credit/debit card.

Why next thing you know somebody will come up with the crazy idea of making the only means to pay for something be by an electronic chip implanted in your right hand or forehead.  GEESH....!!!

Rev 13:16   "And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

Rev 13:17   "And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."

And, so it begins. But just to elaborate, no one will be required to take the mark until the antichrist actually comes to light and obommer ain't it.

When the antichrist gains power, he will be very popular, make all the "right" decisions, and everyone that is here at that time will believe he will solve all the world problems.

And according to the Bible (God's Word and plan) if you are a Christian, a true Christian, then you won't be here when he comes to power.

I'm pretty sure you are the only one on here that likes him. :) Rest of us think he's a Muslim sympathizer, and a real shitty president.

I don't like him, but I don't dislike him either.  He's pretty much in the "meh" category for me.  But I think President's can't truly be judged until they have been out of office for a bit of time and the 2nd & 3rd order effects of their policies take root.

It's just funny to see the knee-jerk reactions on the right, because they are pretty similar to how the left viewed President Bush during his two terms.

I got an email yesterday that has one of those video presentations and it seems to have covered Dirtshooter's question.

As of October of 2015, businesses will have a card machine like what you use to swipe your credit card, and it will also be able to read your credit card number, debit card that you have saved onto your 'smartphone'.  Once you have your card info saved on the phone, all you do when you are ready to pay is to wave your phone past this thing and your card is charged that way. Some kind of research has found out that most people always carry their phone with them compared to having their wallet on them. . This is 'supposed' to make transaction processing faster, and be more secure since no one sees your card info.  People can still use cash and checks, but this is a move to a 'digital currency'.
