Hydro Dip Help!

Recommended Posts

I went all in and decided to try to hydro dip my 870 by myself....

Bought a kit from here:

http://www.mydipkit.com/index.html

Has anyone used these before? I've read the instructions, and watched ALL of their videos and even some from other folks..... But I can't get this crap to work!

I've been trying all day, and every time it basically just completely melts and dissolves into gunk....

I've tried less and more activator... waited different amounts of time.... Even used a stopwatch on it.  No dice, it always ends up like this.

WTH?!

Anyone on here do this professionally?

I do not know about a kit, but we did it with paint for plastic.

We used a bucket of water, 2 colors of paint and it came out OK, it does wear but what does not.
