The 1911 on the upper left has adjustable rear sights. That would make it altered and "modern" wouldn't it? Less than 50 years old. Thus a non qualifying C&R firearm.

What about the 3rd gen match target in the upper right?

I am no expert, but I thought Colt decided to put adjustable rear sights on some of the National Match's as early as the early 30's, then again with the Colt Gold Cup National Match in the 50's.

Again, I'm no expert.

Front sight and main spring housing are don't look stock 1911 either. The one in the middle is straight GI.

As I recently posted in the thread regarding the National Match that I inherited from my late grandfather...

Colt National Match – Chambered in .45 ACP, these were basically Government Model pistols with hand honed actions, match grade barrels, and exceptionally fine blued finish. They were manufactured between 1933 and 1941. Their serial number range will be within C164,800 – C215,000. These pistols came in both fixed sight and adjustable sight models.

Mine has a serial of "C182xxx" and does have adjustable rear sights.

You posted something?

Smartass. :D

That inserted comma was a typo... but should now read correctly, referencing a separate thread (that I created in regards to the National Match a week or two ago).

I don’t know, but why do you have a link to a Sony Cybershot on Amazon.com?

Depending on how he hosted the images, a lot of times the program will link to the type of camera that was used.

Glen, I need a hint - will they all be C&R in another two years?

The link must come from the photo host.

The gun in the Upper left hand corner is a 1968 vintage 1911a1 "Clark Custom Hardball". Clockwise: 1911 circa 1913, Woodsman Match Target circa 1947, Pre-Woodsman Target circa 1927, and bottom One of 925 Woodsmans made on contract for the USAF in 1949 for use in Arctic survival kits.

The BATF determined all woodsman made before 1978 are C&R
