I've had a few CZ 75's over the years. If I were to get another it would be this one:   http://cz-usa.com/product/cz-75-b-sa-9mm-black-16-rd-mags/

You might want to peruse these sites. I have never heard an ill word towards these folk.

My P01 is from CZC, a buddy has 2 he sent to Matt Mink @ Automatic Accuracy. No first hand info, but have also read great things about Cajun Gun Works.

Anybody have first hand experience with the recoil difference between the full size B/BD and the PCR/Compact?  I'm looking at a 75BD now for something low recoil that the rest of my family will shoot. They would have nothing to do with a 1911/45. I would like to have the option of occasionally carrying it if I feel I needed more than my EDC M13.

It may be because I'm used to shooting mine but I don't notice any difference either in accuracy or felt recoil between my SP-01 and my PCR. Other than a slightly shorter grip they feel the same in my hand.

Maybe the trigger is not quite as nice as a 1911, but there's a heckuva lot you can do to make them better. The most fun is the excuse to shoot it more.

Speaking of 1911, I sold mine to get the 97BD and will probably never go back. There's a LOT less muzzle flip and it's more accurate than I can shoot.

I listed one in the FOR SALE section

Yes, yes you did! Fine looking one at that. I used to own an SP-01 Tactical. An EDC gun it was not, more like carrying an anvil in a holster, but it was the finest shooting semi-auto I have EVER shot. I went back with the Glock system because of the familiarity since I've been issued those for nearly 20 years. BUT, I have often wished that I could trade my G17 for a standard 75B and my G19 for a 75 Compact. Sometimes I'd just love to go back to the CZ way of life. BUT, I just don't think I'd ever be able to let go of my Glocks either.
