NEED OPINIONS ON KELTEC PLR-16, PLEASE!

Are they any good? I know there have been problems with some of their other rifles, i can get one nib for $500. + $45 for h-guard + $15. for sling.

$560. +tax, for the whole thing! I think the price is fair, and after several hrs. on net, the only complaint, i found, is they are too loud? To loud to use in a house for self-defense, i do have a Prof.Ord. 97 pistol, which has a barrel 2" shorter and while noisey, is bearable! This is a panic buy, since these type of guns will be on the highest priority on a ban list!

So,if you have one, please inform me, as to pros and cons!

Thanks.

Id get it!

To loud to use in a house for self-defense

Nothing is to loud for HD.I doubt one would even notice how loud a gun is in that type of situation

Went to buy the keltec today, when i got there i found out the gun had been sold, just before i got there, and they hope to get a few more in middle of the week.

But he did say that if so, the hand-guard and sling would not be available

most likely the foll. week! So i will check back wed. and see.

Hopefully the show sat. at the expo will have one, at still a decent price if

Obamjie wins?:sadwave:

I doubt you will find any “deals†at any of the shows around here. I have been looking at them. I wouldn’t buy unless it was from a dealer with a warranty.

If you are ready to buy; I would shoot IM’s to forum supporting dealers and see what happens. That usually gets me a good price; plus it supports the forum. thumbsup.gif

Well, after calling around all morning, and nobody has a plr-16 in stock and cant even get any till???

I did get lucky and find a distr. who had 1 left for $449.99 + $22.00 ship. and no tax.

So i saved at least $80.00 and should get in in the next 2 days! So i hope to be able to take it out to PC and test it next week!

Why.Out of state-taxation with out representation

“Out of state†doesn’t want the tax money. Tennessee does.

But since Slim is legally bound to pay tax on that weapon, I’m sure he will do that; no harm, no foul. :D

Well, i got my hand-guard and sling today and put them on gun!

Now i need to decide as to whether to buy and order the muzzle break made for it, run me $33. shipped or to put on a A-2 flash-hider? I think

the A-2 would work just as good or better, any experience, anybody?:rolleyes:Thanks, James
