MCTS Indoors - IDPA Classifier Today (Moved to 2/25/15)

Match Postponed until 02/25/2015 due to weather closing the facility.

 

MCTS Indoors will be hosting an IDPA Classifier on February 18th. We will run 2 bays side by side so we can get everyone through. 90 round count, but bring at least 30 extra.

Setup begins at 5pm
Rounds down range at 6pm

You do not have to be an IDPA or MCTS member to shoot the classifier, but remember if you want to shoot any Major matches this year you will need an IDPA membership and valid classification. This is the perfect opportunity to get a classifier under your belt, or make a run at a higher classification. If you have any questions, email me at jwmotox@gmail.com

Yes it is. No steel core, penetrator, tracer, or similar allowed

If you can make it there by 7ish we will work you in...

I'd love for the ones that finish early to stick around and help score and paste targets so we can accommodate as many as possible. Likewise if you show up late, it would be great if you were able to stick around and help as well.

This I believe is the first classifier of the year in Middle Tn, and a great way to get it out of the way before the Sanctioned matches start up

We will start shooting as soon as setup is complete(approx 5:15). Staff will try to shoot their match first so when the majority comes in, we will be prepared accordingly. Entries will be accepted until 8pm.

Road and Weather Update:

 

Main roads thru Wilson Co and Sumner are clear, so Classifier Wednesday night is still on. Indoor Weather report says it will be a nice 68 degrees inside so come on out and get your Classifier knocked out before the Sanctioned Matches begin.

Cabin fever and missing my last chance to shoot a match, going to try to make it tonight - indoors and climate controlled match sounds great.

As of now, no changes. Classifier is still scheduled to run tonight. Going to drive the area mid day, there will be an update here and Facebook if the match is cancelled.

Due to the facility closing early, we will be forced to cancel the match tonight. In order to still offer the classifier for those that need one, we have postponed it until next week.

Yeah, my concern was refreezing before we finish.  It's supposed to be back down to like 15 degrees by 7:30p.  Guess it doesn't matter now.  At least my wife will be happy.

Unfortunately this one was out of our hands. There isn't a whole lot that will keep us from shooting, but breaking and entering is at the top of the list...
