I'm not up on the laws in Minnesota, but I'm surprised he's legally allowed to carry during a city council meeting.

I have family there and from speaking with them it's more left leaning than many realize. I was also surprised to see someone armed in the meeting.

Is said he was a former cop and still works in some capacity for them.  I am guessing he isn't considered your normal citizen in relation to carry.

Why would it be illegal for him to carry at the meeting?  I can't think of why it would be illegal in Tennessee.
