Need info!! CCW permit question

Handguns.  You may NOT have a loaded rifle in the car.  You can have a loaded rifle mag / empty rifle chamber in the car WITH a HCP.  Hopefully this is still correct, stuff changes a bit.

 

Indeed, it is not still correct. Changed last session. Anyone not prohibited from owning firearms may have any firearm in any condition in private vehicle.

Sorry but that's incorrect. As per your quote above, there are two conditions:

 

Condition 1: 2 or more DUIs in last 10 years

Condition 2: At least one DUI in last five years.

 

The "and" is important - both conditions must be met to deny HCP. Two or more DUI convictions in last 10 years, each over 5 years from date of application is not a disqualifying situation.

Cool, that's not the way I read the FAQ answer I quoted, but my opinion isn't the one that counts it's only the courts & the dept of safety. Always learning new things on here thanks to posters like yourself, thanks oh shoot!

Pretty sure yes,  best I remember a question about both parts of the DUI thang.

 

Doesn't matter if they do or not, they'll find them, the check is quite thorough, so tell the truth.
