Wal-mart 10/22, tech-sites, swivels, studs and a sling about $450. That's the route I went. My last M1 Garand was only $525 from the CMP....

I'm lucky i guess. My .22 rifle was given to me by my aunt. Since at the time she gave it to me, I didn't have a firearm.

 

I have a tube load Winchester model 290. Since have added a tasco scope( nothing fancy).

 

I can attest that it hates .22lr Hollow points. But the target ammo it shoots fine.

Well for a bit over 100 dollars you can get an M1 stock for your 10/22.

Not very reasonable to me.

the receivers are milled from 4140 instead of aluminium like rugers plus the stocks are real nice too LOL

I like the way these look but 22 L.R.?

 

I think I would rather shoot something cheap and available like 30.06
