That is quite a deal. That 96323 is $699.37 at Buds and $618.61 at Kentucky Gun.
Even after you apply the $75 Remington rebate there is a substantial savings.

I've been wanting to pick up a 1911 (it would be my first 1911!) for quite some time and this makes it very tempting.

The link for the rebate is not correct. It refers back to last year...but they do have a 2015 rebate going as well, so the deal is still correct.

I've been wanting to pick up a 1911 (it would be my first 1911!) for quite some time and this makes it very tempting.

Everyone should have a 1911!  This would reduce the demand for the tupperware guns currently available.
