Anyone have the Troy Delta handguard?

I FINALLY got all the parts in to get my AR to the point where I thought I'd like it ( You all know how that goes) but I am having trouble getting comfortable with the carbine length handguard with a small rail section installed for my QD sling mount. I am not really interested in removing / changing / cutting the front sight post and installing a free float rail so I began looking for a drop in midlength rail and came across the Troy. Anyone have any experience with this particular handguard? I know troy makes good stuff but that's not a small chunk of change to invest without some research.
