Remember the protests for Michael Brown?

It was all fun and games until it affected anyone who was trying to get to the hospital. This story gives some insight into what the protesters are all about, which is that some of them are still living with their parents after being indoctrinated at a liberal university and have yet to experience the real world.

HMMMM...Michael Moore's in training perhaps?

At least the report implies a similarity there. Old enough to have a career, and still living, quite well it seems, either at home with parents or in parent owned homes.

They are the sons and daughters, and in some cases, the grandsons and grandaughters of the hippy trash i stepped over goin to school at UT in the middle and late sixties... I didn't think they would amount to anything or affect anything... They studied political science and pot chemistry; if they studied at all... I studied engineering; they studied causin trouble and changin the world... I didnt believe they could; but sadly they did... Come to think of it; i shoulda stomped a few of these sons and daughters of perdition on the way to class instead of stepping over them and laughing at them...

I'm thinking I read or heard recently about a scholarship in Michael Brown's name. WTF??!!!??!? :stare:

Yes, I have heard this on several "talk" shows, usually the left leaning ones. One comment was something to the effect that in rememberance of the fine young man that was killed far to early in his  life, we are helping to set up a scholarship in his memory.

I almost choked hearing that.

They already have that, food stamps.

You are correct "juice", it's already in effect.

"Quote"   I studied engineering; they studied causin trouble and changin the world.    No offense and hope none taken. I'm glad you got your education for sure. But I think the people that were changing the world back then was the 58,000+ that were fighting and dying before the age of 20 in a country which we had no business being in at all. Many of those young men never got a chance to go to college because they received their draft notices before the summer of their graduation was even over.................jmho
