Smyrna Citizens Police Academy

It has been a couple of years since Smyrna offered this and this year it is Free.  I attended a few years ago, and had to pay 25 bucks.  I thought it was worth the time and effort.  Learned a ton, met some good peeps.  My wife is going this time, and I will probably stop by.  I don't know if they will run out of space, so if your interested, I would get my application in soon.

I did the one Oak Ridge offered last year,  It was both educations and fun.

 

I highly recommend the program if you get a chance.

 

 

Last year they took my class to the gun range for some Target practice.  My first time ever shooting a glock.

Rutherford Co. Sheriff has a really good one, it is usually in the fall.  Went to the firing range and shot  the  .40 cal Sig the county uses.  No range time @ Smyrna, unless they have changed it.
