Hello folks,

I recently found this site. I have to say I am quite impressed. Informative and very nicely put together.

The wife and I both grew up in the Knoxville area and graduated from UT. We have lived out of state for over 10 yrs now but get home as much as possible. We currently reside in Georgia.

I have a GFL and carry wherever it is legal. I usually carry either a 1911 or a Glock depending on my mood and/or attire. I am an admitted holster junkie. I love trying new things out to see what works best for me.

My GFL is good in TN so I carry there too when I am home. Sucks though you can't carry in places that serve alcohol. Our gun rights group, GeorgiaCarry.org, worked our tails off for a long time to get that changed here. As of July 1, 2008 we can now carry as long as 51% of the income comes from food and we are not consuming while carrying. I will keep my fingers crossed TN law will someday change too.
