Polishing some stainless hardware

Instead of posting guns to sell, I spent the afternoon polishing some stainless girls that are known around here as "keepers" [emoji106]
Figured I'd share the results, might want some [emoji41]

Refer to some of my previous snide comments...I do hate you!   At least envy anyway. LOL

I thought I had a few nice looking Smiths.  I was wrong.

I use Mothers Mag & Aluminum polish. Sold in small metal can in Walmart automotive section.

But be careful polishing, it's easy to ruin a gun finish by taking off too much or doing more harm than good with dirty rags, tainted polish medium, too much or uneven pressure etc etc Edited by wileecoyote

Beautiful. What did you use to polish them?


I also use Mother's Mag on stainless. I use a rag wheel on a dental polishing lathe, followed by a chamois wheel and jewelers rouge.

On nickel, I use Flitz and some special silver polishing cloths.
