Anybody else notice all the Mini14s in evidence in coverage of the French terrorist chase? A few pics:

From what I've heard that's a Mousqueton AMD.  A 3 round burst variation of the AC556/Mini-14.  Note the M1 carbine style sling cutout, fancy checkering and rubber buttpad.

At least they finally broke out the long guns. During the first day I never saw a single one. Hell, I think the poor cop that was gunned down in the street wasn't even armed.

1st off... that 1st cop in the picture is a BIG fellow.  - makes the mini-14 look like a toy.

2nd.  Muzzle Discipline Guys!!  - whew!  :)

I would think the FAMAS would be a better choice, but then again, after owning two of Mini 14s, my opinion of them is pretty low.

It's O K. They probably don't have any bullets

Looks like some very basic weapons handling training is needed to me,

These guys probably don't get much time behind a stick like that.  Many of the patrol officers opt not to carry handguns.

I've tried a couple 2 and 3-round burst devices. In my experience, they're actually pretty effective. I like Mini14s, and would LOVE to try one out!

'Spose the stock would fit a regular old Mini14? They really do look sharp!
