July 2010 - What a chunk, ~350lbs.

January 2011 - I had Gastric Bypass on December 28th, 2010, so still chunky.

August 2011 - Whoa!! I lost too much, I was ~165lbs here. At 6'3" I was an absolute skeleton. Doc said put on ~30lbs, asap.

July 2012 - A little more weight on the old bones, but still too damn skinny.

October 2014 - My lovely wife and I now. I'm currently weighing in at 2 bucks and have been consistently since the end of 2012. I'm one of those rare cases that actually conquered the eating addiction that caused the life time of being overweight. I "binge" every now and then, but the pleasure of doing so is short lived and life starts to suck big time. I eat what should be a normal sized portion and occasionally snack. A huge bonus from the surgery is that I rarely get hungry, unless I go 5-6hrs without eating. I'm not supposed to go more than 30mins without taking a drink of something because I don't absorb fluids from what I eat like you do, if I go for too long I get dehydrated quickly. Alcohol is great, it hit fast and hard and let's just say I'm a cheap date. Another bonus, I completely sober up in about 30-45mins. Oh, and I'm growing my beard out, so it's quite a bit longer now.

I don't have any pictures of myself, and don't plan to take any, so here. I'm the guy on the left with the creepy grin.

This is me two years ago after hiking to the top of Angels Landing in Zion National Park in Utah. After hiking for about two miles and a 1500 ft. elevation gain I was rewarded with this outstanding view down Zion Valley. Not bad for a 60 year old. :pleased:
