Heard someone say on another forum that they had talked to Ruger and were told it would be at least two to three weeks before the labels started going out.--MP

That was the same line given for the SR9, which took much longer than that before the labels went out.

UPS came and picked mine up today. I received the box, packaging and instructions day before yesterday at my house. I had SPECIFICALLY given Ruger my work address for this recall but I guess since I registered it (filled out warranty info on line) and gave my home address, it was already in their system. I called them yesterday to let them know I was ready and reiterated that it must be picked up and returned to my work address since it would need to be signed for. So far not so good.....

It happens. I hate it too but, ain't gonna cost nuthin to get it fixed plus the finger extension mag. Carry mine with the Kel Tec Clip in appendix. Great gun....

I aint believing this. UPS picked up my gun on 12/8 and delivered it back to me today 12/12. Four day turnaround time from Tenn. to AZ and back. Came back with the new mag and a Ruger LCP hat in the box. Plan on taking it to the range tomorrow and make sure everything still works as good as it did before the recall.

They answered both times I called but I would think they are getting bombarded with calls by now. Someone else said they got an answering machine and Ruger called them back.

Since Ruger is paying for the shipping, I think I would send two guns back in two different packages. That way if they lost one, you wouldn't lose both. I'd even be tempted to send them back on two different days.

Congratulations! I just hope mine is that fast. Question, does yours now have a "Diamond" stamp under the hammer?

Well............. Maybe I am being impatient but I know for a fact they don't do first come first serve on these recalls. My mom did her lcp recall sheet a week or two after me and she has already sent hers back. She got it probably a week or so ago.

:ugh: I want mine fixed since I have never shot it yet. HAHAHA!

Wow that is fast. When my hubby had the sr9 recall he also got a hat. He is hoping we get one for the LCP. :ugh: HA
