For you folks in and around McGhee Tyson, Knoxville, Oak Ridge and Clinton, don't forget these boys will be in town tomorrow (Friday, Jan. 9th, 2015).  Don't forget the traffic will be a nightmare!  Are you excited????  This has been a public service announcement.

I for one would rather have them in Knoxville instead of the white house.

I do believe I find that offensive!  Agree not in the WH, but not in East Tennessee, how about middle Tennessee?

It's a bit of revenue for the local economy so meh.... Wait, we pay them so isn't it essentially us getting our money back?

Sent from the future using a flux capacitor.

NO NO NO NO NO. They just did that the other day. Not again thank you. Took me an hour to drive what normally gets done in 10 min, and it was well outside of the area they shutdown for Mr. President's motorcade. Ugh. No more.

Id send them to Michigan. The unions love them, the car companies love them. It's a win/win. Hopefully there's be some lake effect snow and they'd be trapped there.

...if only there was a way we could trick those protester idiots into having one of their protests and lay in the middle of Alcoa Highway (main thoroughfare between airport and town) so it has to be shut down today.

I work a couple miles from the airport.  I kinda want to see Air Force 1 fly over, just for the novelty of it.  I've seen it one time before when Reagan visited Chattanooga when I was a kid.  We don't see many 747's here.  Otherwise, I'm glad they're headed the opposite direction.

Does anyone know when his majesty's coach might arrive?  I want to gaze up to the sky in wonderment.

The news this morning said he's scheduled to speak at Pellissippi at about 1pm, so I'd guess arrival anywhere between 10am-noon.  My guess is the roar of the fighters will give it away.

I'm almost due south of the airport and right in the pattern, so it depends on which direction the wind is blowing.   If they approach from the south, they'll fly right over us.  If from the north, we won't see it until they leave.  Current wind says SW12.

 Me too.

I would even go as far to have some drinks with the VP so he would tell me all of the cool stuff about the plane.

I feel for Techmer.  The majority of companies his majesty has visited - subsequently tanked or experienced other operational chaos.  I expect our town of Clinton will on balance suffer.  Just like the rest of them.

BTW...  Techmer lost 8 hours of production today.  The day shift employees have a choice - work makeup Saturday, or take a day of vacation.  nice.

Watched me get off the plane  Bob and Lamar was all smiles right behind him......Duncan looked like he wanted to be somewhere else.

Watching the motorcade I can't help but think.................be a dang good time to rob a bank or something with all the police dealing with traffic and security for his Royal Highness.

I live by the college. Secret Service chopper has been making rounds. Quite at the moment. Hopefully they are out of here before I pick my kids up from school.

I just got home. Never seen vehicles like those parked along pellissippi. Massive Black vehicles the size of a fire truck. Doubt there was any ammo in them LOL
