After the recent trail cam pictures on here I figured I'd try to catch a few of the foxes I know run through my yard all the time.... in the middle of Green Hills

Nice. I have seen 4  in the wild, very cool creatures to watch. Saw one while hunting one day, came to the base of my tree and looked up at me, then went and caught mice in the field for a while.

Back around 2007-2008 or so I was living in Cookeville and would see them in town all of the time.  There was one down at the end of the parking lot at Kroger one night that some morons were hand feeding.

We just saw one a few days ago.  Its been years since I had seen any.  Thought that Coyotes had put a dent on the population.

Used to hear the baby fox cries a lot in the evenings on the far edge of Bellevue. Now I just hear coyote yips.

Coyotes have put a big dent in the fox population.  One more reason to kill more coyotes.

I don't hunt or trap fox, because of their rodent appetite. They are very beneficial.

Last night again... I think they must have a den close by. That hedge is about 5' wide and there's basically a tunnel down the middle, it's more like two hedges that have grown together. It goes about 80 yards and mostly along my fence on one side. A pretty good row of woods (for middle of green hills anyway) about 20'-100yds wide at the end of it weaves it's way between neighbors lots for about 1/4 mile and ends at a creek....

They appear to be in good health anyway.

Unless ya have chickens,

My neighbor is not real fond of 'em.

But lately he's had more trouble with the owls.
