my late grandfathers plinker .22

My glock 23 (Antioch gun) crossbreed IWB not pictured

And my 5 day old M&P bodyguard. Ordered the talon grip, clipdraw and desantis. I love this thing for a pocket carry. I stopped carrying ignorantly because I moved to cool springs which is a relatively low crime area.. But I often find myself in sweat pants running 1/2 mile down the road to Walmart and realized I need to start carrying something. The bodyguard melts away even in my sweat pants. Highly recommend.

Of all those you listed I admire the old H&R the most....good basic and affordable .22 LR revolver....kind of the HPA of its era.

Cool beans! Was the grip tape a kit, or did you cut and fit it all yourself?

It's a kit. Takes about 10-15 to install. Very easy. Here's a link. 17$

And nostalgic, fun to shoot and sentimental... It's a great little gun.

My S&W SD40 has a light on it very similar to the one on your Glock. I really like the light.

Yep. It's a streamlight tlr2s laser/light. The strobe is pretty cool. Although I don't think anyone would be able to use it effectively in a real situation.

I agree unless you had a very very small warning. I use my SD40 as my bedside gun and have used the light to see through the house after my outside dog woke me up barking and growling his head off. It wound up being a stray dog passing by my chainlink fence. If I want to carry it anywhere the light has to come off though as I have yet to find a holster that will fit  the gun and light.

Haha @ "Antioch gun"

I mean right thought haha. Not going there without it. Period. You can also call it "the boro" gun, not going there without it either haha. And I loved there for 6 years.

Yea. The streamlight has a spring loaded screw. So you just unscrew it a bit with your thumb and ouch the screw it and it releases. Takes literally 7 seconds.

Lol I have an east Nashville rig so I know exactly how you feel! I like your grandpas .22, is that one of the ones that can be fired double and single action? I know it's modeled after the Colt SA but as I understand some of those older rimfire models actually do both.

That's correct. It's a joy to shoot.

Love the old H&R, didn't realize that was maker, as didn't know they made any "cowboy" models. Is it a six or nine shot?

I have one of their more common styles, the 922 (nine shot):

Has it got a model number? I'd like to keep my eyes out for one , I've never seen a revolver with two cylinders with different capacities before.

I have a Bodyguard .380, I love it. It does melt away. I have a set of custom pocket holsters for mine from Adams holsters. Absolutely the best move I've made holster wise.
