Is everyone ready to fill the woods with that fragrant smell of smoke from the big boom of your muzzle loader????? I for one can't wait:hyper:;).....I didn't get to bow hunt any, for reasons I won't bore ya'll with. So Saturday morning I'll be in the woods waiting, hoping, for that Big Ol' Deer to make a mistake. Because, as beautiful as a deer is............They still look best beside the biscuits and taters.....mmmmmmmmm:drool::eek::D;)

Good luck everyone!!!!!!!

I am ready to go. Looks like it is going to be a nice morning, mid to upper thirties in my part of Tn. I need some fresh meat for the freezer so unless it is just a monster I am hoping for a nice fat doe. :D

Got the old smoke pole out and made sure it was still sighted in, then set it in the corner jsut having it sit there makes me day dream about frosty mornings and cool breezes and the squirrels playing, and hopefully a big fat doe for the freezer. if saturday don't hurry up and get here i might have to get the old bow back out.

I plan to be in the deer woods on Saturday morning waiting on a chance to make meat. I do love to hunt with a traditional 54 caliber cap lock rifle using real black powder and a patched round ball.
