Not there, not done that way.

 

They are supposed to send one in mail automatically at about 3 months before current expiration. If you want to do it before that (can do within 6 months of expiration), call their office and they'll send one out to you early.

A permit holder can submit a Renewal Application at any Driver Service Center or renew by mail. To receive a renewal application by mail call (615) 251-8590.

Btw, It took a month from mailing my form out to gettin my new card in the mail. I got a certification, temporary letter within two weeks.

Just renewed my permit today at the local DL center. $65

Also renewed my DL at the same time. $20

They took two different pictures, and two different signatures, so each one will apparently look a little different. And I didn't get to preview either photo. That's odd because last time I renewed my DL they let me preview and retake photo until I was satisfied, and they were able to copy my permit photo and signature from my DL info.

Got temporary paper copies of both, no telling how long before the real ones get here.

check cashed 2/20 haven't seen the new license yet, should I be worried?

Thanks, thought it was faster then a nfa stamp.....I'm temped to call the state and see if I went pending yet :)
