Kahr CW9

I have owned a couple of Kahrs including the CW9. I carried mine for a while and had no issues with it other than the one mag follower breaking on me. They may have that worked out by now but keep an eye on your mags. I actually shot mine for a while with a broken follower without issue so it's not really a big deal. From what I remember the the bottom of the feed ramp would contact the follower on the last round and break them over time. I also think very few are affected. You can shave a little off of the feed ramp if yours does it.

It's a very solid gun though with a smooth (but long) trigger. The only mod I had to make was to get a set of rubber talon grips as the stippling is rather sharp.

I have the CM9. Constant companion for 3.5yrs. It has never failed once. I recommend a good bit of practice as the trigger takes a little time to master. I need to shoot a bare minimum of a couple mags a month to stay proficient with it, especially since I'm a single action hammer fired fan.

IMO they are the best single stack CCW weapons out there today. Great triggers,no safety BS ,priced right and USA made,I own 3 and all run great

I'll second that!

Some folks don't care for the long albeit smooth double action trigger. Personally, I like having an extra millisecond pull time i.e. "decision time" on the trigger if under stress. My experience is with the early all steel K9 and MK9.

MK9 owner and carrier here. I'll echo the positivity of the other respondents

I have a CW9.  Its not my favorite to shoot but it is just right size (for me) so I use it as my EDC.  I usually carry it IWB with a  small (single clip) Crossbreed holster however it will also fit in my coat pocket.  I've very pleased with it.

It's a great daily carry pistol. I carry it during sumber months due to how skinny it is. In the fall and winter I will carry my SIG 228 more, but the CW9 is light and comfortable. A good performing gun as well. As said above the trigger is a bit longer than most, but smooth. This is deigned to prevent ADs.

I use a Comptac IWB kydex holster.

I carried a CM40 for over a year. It was my first carry gun actually.

I loved the gun as it was extremely easy to conceal (pocket carried most of the time) and never once failed on me even when feeding it reloaded ammo.

My only "complaint" was that it was the 40 and I really wanted it in nine. That 40 did have some kick to it, but not nearly as much as one would expect given the gun's size.

Kahr makes a great pistol.  My CM9 I've had for a number of years and my new CT9 have never had a failure of any type even during the break in period.

WOW the reviews have convinced me it would benefit me to keep it. The trigger does take a little getting use to.

Did I say they were great? I meant they're terrible, and you should let me take it off your hands for you ;)

It's really in your best interest :hat:
